November Wrap-Up!

Summary:

Unfortunately during November (classes and college applications) I wasn't able to read as many books as I did in October I did manage to read these two wonderful ones. One featured The Ottoman Empire which I was particularly excited to read about because my great great grandfather and before him were from the Ottoman Empire. The other one was sent to me by a blogger friend who DNFed it and asked me to check it out, I ended up loving it and even convinced her to give it another chance!

Books Read:

1. And I Darken by Kiersten White

2. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

Things I did in November:

1. Joined my schools bowling team (it's not really a "sporty sport" but I enjoy it so why not) for the second year! I joined last year as a junior and after having so much fun decided to try out again this year.

2. Convinced my friend to go see Hamilton! She didn't know much about it at first but I made her listen to the soundtrack (which she ended up loving) and told her about the cancellation line, she ended up going and loved the show (I mean can anyone not love it?).

3. Saw Moana with my sisters! I loved every minute of it and now the songs are stuck in my head, Lin Manuel Miranda has shown how much of a genius he is once again. I'm definitely going to have to see this movie again sometime because it was that good.

Things Planned in December:

1. Hopefully get accepted to Brown University ED! Brown is my dream school and obviously I really really want to get in and go there next year, decisions come out either December 8 or 15 so I'm both anxious and excited for that date to come closer.

2. See Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Harry Potter is one of the books that truly got me into reading when I was in elementary school and I've been a fan ever since; it's been a while since a new HP movie so I'm looking forward to this.

3. Winter Break! I would never say no to a few days off from school and this one is sorely needed so I can rest from schoolwork for a bit and come back to school after the break feeling refreshed.
