SBPT Tour Week #1: Book Trivia with One Way Or An Author

Today marks the first day of the 2015 Summer Blogger Promo Tour and I'm starting off with Aila from One Way Or An Author! To fit in with her name we decided to a book trivia game where I give her some sort of description (plot, setting, cover) of the book and she has to  guess the book and author. Every Sunday a new blogger will be featured so make sure to check in and see all the fun posts we have planned!

Book Trivia:

1. The cover features a winding white dragon, artwork reminiscent of Russia, and has something to do with weather

Aila's answer: Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

2. Blue mist and a dagger on the cover, written by a author who has published dozens of books

Aila's answer: *gapes at description for 5 minutes*
My only guess is Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta (hope I spelled that right)? I'm not sure if that counts for blue mist though... > v >;

3. Soon being released as a movie, written by one of the currently most popular YA authors

Aila's answer: Wow, um, this is kind of vague lol. Howwww soon? *narrows eyes*
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs? I recently heard news about a movie in production for that one.
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir? That book's movie rights sold before it was even published, lol.
Wait wait okay, I got it: Paper Towns by John Green. I even saw the trailer a couple months ago yet it took me a pretty long time to think of it. :P

4. Black background with red barcodes and numbers, story is semi-related to androids/robots

Aila's answer: Reboot by Amy Tintera

5. assassins and nuns, cover features a crossbow

Aila's answer: Grace Mercy by Robin LaFevers

6. A classic "fairy tale" retold with zombies

Aila's answer: Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter. I'm pretty sure that's the only zombie book I've read and thoroughly disliked it haha.

7. Cover features a fiery dragon with its wings spread open and contains the phrase sky

Aila's answer: The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas

8. A girl pretends to be a boy, dragons, Asian inspired

Aila's answer: Eon or Eona! By Alison Goodman. Aren't those covers gorgeous??

9. Set in the future when the sun has basically killed the world, girl hiding in a bunker

Aila's answer: *thinks over the hundreds of dystopians I've read throughout the years*
Burn Out by Kristi Helvig! I was literally thinking about this over dinner omg.

10. shoes standing on top of water, shadow of a person underneath

Aila's answer: The Shadow Society by Marie Rutkoski
